Be More Than A Diabetic

That is a little saying that I use to encourage myself when times are rough. I try not to think too much about the disease and all the bad things that can happen..Blah..Blah..

Just keep it simple!

Lay off of the bad foods, exercise, and enjoy life the way that it is meant to be. Exercising is so therapeutic for me because it helps the insulin work with your body better and it is a MAJOR stress reliever. Most of my best days start out with an awesome day of exercise. Anything that can define your plan in life will only make you better!

Plan Your Meals!

Take time to learn what works best for your schedule and write out or pre make what you are going to eat for that day or even week.

What are your favorite hobbies and activities?

For me, I love going to the movies, hanging at the beach with my family, working on websites, bartending, fantasy sports, helping others with diabetes and the list can go on. Remember that you are more than a person that has to check their sugar level a few times a day. Be You today!
